When someone points out a perceived flaw or their disappointment in you, could you see this as a gift?  Regardless of whether the other is right or wrong, there is a reason for their perception.  It could be their pain or it could indeed be that you might want to change something in your own behavior.  What matters most is:  is there is an opportunity here to bring more light into the world?  To do so would be the gift.  We are not speaking of changing the other person, of defending yourself, even if warranted.  We are speaking of asking yourself, “What good can come of this?”  Move to the heart, whose only defense is love, and ask of Source, “How can this be turned into the gifts it holds?  Mine them from the muck of being human.  Gifts abound in a sea of pure potential.  You are so very loved.
