Does a parent give a child everything it wants? If so, how does the child learn? If not, what is the reason? It is for the child’s growth and learning, or
as you say, “For their own good.” Do you
get everything you pray for? Why do you
think this is? There is a reason for
everything. You cannot always see the
greater picture. Trust that all that happens
is for your own good. Surrender the
desire to have everything you ask for.
With surrender and trust comes peace … for your own good and the good of
the Whole.
