You can’t see a way out?  Can you see a way in?  Slide your awareness from the area of the eyes, where you think you are doing all the thinking, and slide that self-same awareness down, down, down into the center of your being.  The heart has its own mind, but the heart does not think.  The heart-mind knows without thinking.  You know this, for you experience this every moment of your life, but the knowing gets drowned out by the din of all that brain-mind chatter.  How to quiet the din?  Breathe slowly and deeply as you slide down.  Choose to settle down.  If only for a moment you will touch peace.  If only for a moment you will know there is another way of knowing besides thinking.  If only for a moment you will make this shift in awareness, you will little by little see your way in to a different way of being.
