How could they be far
When they are the same as you are?
A thought, an image, a tingling sensation,
Not dead and gone, but away on a vacation.
All is not as it may seem,
But more like when you dream.
In an instant they are here
For there is no far and near
In a world that’s not as real
As to your fingers it may feel.
You will see your friends again
It’s not the thought of when
But understanding that your task
Is “Who Am I” to ask.
When the answer clears the doubt,
You will want to jump and shout
And tell the world what you now know:
That there’s nowhere else to go.
There is only ever now; there is only ever here.
Which is why it should be clear
That  when the truth is known
And your soul has truly grown
You will know that all live on
And cannot be truly gone.
