The solar plexus chakra is the center of strength.  It is where those in spirit connect most strongly with you—there, and the heart.  For the clearest possible connection across the veil, focus on building up the power in the solar plexus.  See it as a ball of light.  Pull in power from the core of the earth.  Connect with the Power Source above, and visualize a continuous flow of Life Force Energy brightening this ball of light more and more.  When depleted, make a conscious effort to do this breathing-empowerment exercise.  So many focus on the upper chakras and neglect the engine.
