half-bakedHalf-baked. You know this expression. You use it in reference to one who does not have all of their faculties or for an idea that has not reached its prime. We are referencing the latter when we say that your life is like that most of the time, for you are a work in progress. Do not berate yourself when you do not live up to your expectations. You have all of the ingredients needed to produce a wonderful cake, and you are in the process of coming to fruition, but you are not there yet. If we tell you that you are half-baked, you will laugh, and that is our desire. Why? Because most of you take yourselves and your foibles far too seriously. You are a work in progress. You are beautiful, sweet, and a delight to behold. Honor yourself, even in your half-baked condition, and savor your sweetness. We most certainly do.
