Mine“That is mine,” you say, and with this assertion you continually cut yourself off from others, drawing a line. Do you not know a singer who proclaims, “Nothing I have is truly mine?” and she is correct, except for the ground of all being, which is consciousness, and even that is not truly yours, but a part—an aspect—of consciousness that is not apart at all. Look closely when you assert that something is yours and therefore does not belong to another. What are you trying to protect? To defend? And why? What are you afraid of losing? If nothing is truly yours, then nothing can ever be lost. You are already whole, my friend. No-thing is yours, and therefore, everything is. Shift awareness, and you will understand our meaning.
