hyacinth-1403166_640Walk in the other’s shoes.  Imagine what it is like to be them.  Ask yourself where their anger comes from, their pain.  This is how you engender compassion.  How were they raised and where?  What were they taught to believe?  Was it like you?  If you were “raised right,” shown love, taught to follow rules, can you understand one who was not and does not?  Not if you look only through the eyes of your story.

This is commonsense information, but do you follow it?  Do you feel compassion for your enemies?  Then why are they your “enemies?”  You do not have to agree with others’ actions.  You do not have to resonate with them, but through understanding, perhaps you can begin by changing your labels.
