“Ever since I can remember …” Have you not heard yourself say this? And this shows a pattern. Patterns are to be avoided if you wish to grow. Why? For all of life is about change, and if you or someone else has been doing or thinking something ever since you can remember, then there may be a bit of a rut to contend with. Of course, there are always exceptions. If someone has been serving others and loving unconditionally ever since you can remember, then that is a rut that you may not want to change, but even the slightest change in the way you go about things can produce growth.
