The sky is blue. Or is it? Or is this the result of tricks of the eyes, reflections of light that make it appear so? What is real? Nothing and everything. Be cautious when using the eyes and other senses to interpret the world. Therein lies the illusion of which the mystics speak. Connect with the world through the heart, and the view changes. You may keep your eyes open if you wish, but when you get out of the head—away from thinking—and move into heart knowing, then you become aware of a far greater reality where all is connected. Be aware of concrete statements such as “The sky is blue,” for the color of the sky is ever-changing, is it not? What never changes is the ground … the ground of your being, which is pure Being.
