You have heard the term “self-destructing” in which a person takes actions which are not in their best interest, are not healthy and self-loving.  A better course of action would be self-de-constructing, in awareness that the human self is merely a mental construction—a story built around constructs:  thoughts, beliefs, and experiences, and all of them ephemeral, temporary.  That which is eternal and not ephemeral is your basic essence, which has no form and is not constructed, but simply IS.  When you deconstruct the beliefs that keep you from truly knowing what you are—the Light of Consciousness—then you can no longer even consider self-destructive behavior.  See the constructs for what they are: , scaffolding on a stage … props to hold up an ever-changing story.  The stage is already set … with love.
