sanayaWhat is a scrooge?  In your lore it is one who is a bit grumpy, who smiles little, and who brings discouragement to every endeavor.  Why would one be a scrooge?  It is learned behavior, brought on by how one was treated, what one was raised to believe, and a worldview that sees darkness instead of light  As you know from your movies, however, even scrooges have a heart.  Rather than look down upon one who is surly and unsmiling, see the pain covering the heart.  Ask yourself what might be going on in that one’s life or what events shaped their life to make them so.  And then send them love and a smile no matter what reaction you expect to receive.  Inside every scrooge is a scared and lonely child seeking love, even if they or you do not see it.

Note from Suzanne:  Last night I was reading a book and becoming more tired by the minute.  I was nudged to read just two more pages. And there on that second-to-last page, the author wrote about cleaning out the clutter in your life. I thought, “That’s just what Sanaya spoke about this morning!” (Click here to see the post) I thought, “If she (the author) mentions a drawer in the kitchen, it will be another one of those awesome Spirit-moments” (because Sanaya had me choose a photo of a messy kitchen drawer – of all things – to accompany their message this morning). And there, on the next page were the words, “I went into the kitchen and found a messy drawer (that needed sorting).” I have lost track of the number of times Sanaya knows exactly what I will come across later the same day as one of their messages. By now I should be used to it, but I always feel the same awe and joy. Sanaya … Us … the One Mind … It’s all connected, my friends.
