And so you are told to annihilate the ego. With this thought often comes fear. “If I cease to exist, then I will disappear. Life as I know it will end.” That is not so. Life with its feeling of separation will cease to exist. You will know yourself more and more as one with all that is, and you will be in alignment with those beings of Light who know no separation. Yes, it requires sacrifice—the letting go of old beliefs and structures, but the gaining of a full-time collaboration with a set of dear friends from whom you have never been separated—your Team of unseen helpers who abide at the center … at the place of balance and alignment from which ego holds you apart.
