What a difference your words make.  “I am angry,” you say, and you have taken ownership of what is a temporary passing.  “I am disappointed,” you say, and you hold onto this feeling.  What if you were to have no language?  There would be awareness of a visiting emotion, sensation, feeling.  You would notice it, and it would flow on through you.  But you do have language, and it most definitely affects your experience.  So why not try, “There is anger in awareness.”  Yes, it sounds awkward, and you may not want to say such an awkward phrase aloud, but think it, why don’t you.  In so doing, you have risen to the position of observer of the passing sensations instead of victim.  The choice is yours, always.  You are so very loved.
