Belly rubs. Back rubs. Foot massages. Why are these so special? It is more than just the human touch, which is special enough in and of itself. These special moments of sharing form a bond—a connection—soul to soul. “I care for you,” they say. “I know how good this feels, and I wish for you to feel good and to feel my love.” This is Spirit speaking through touch, using the body as the expression of love that it is, and isn’t it beautiful?
Have you touched another in a special way lately? Have you gone beyond the hug or kiss—which are special indeed—and have you shown tenderness and caring through a non-sexual caress?
