And so the question has been asked:
“Are we not allowed to be happy, to celebrate our joys and successes?”  And we answer, you are allowed to do and feel
anything you like.  That is why you are
having this human experience.  And what
happens with emotions?  They balance each
other out.  The farther you swing from
the center in one direction, the farther will be the opposite swing.  It is the Law of Balance.  For every mountain there is a valley.  This is just as true in the physical sense as
the emotional.

Does this mean you should not experience moments of ecstatic joy?  There is a subtle difference between the joy
and bliss of “being” which one experiences in pure communion with the spirit,
and moments of mania one experiences as a human.  This mania must seek its equal and opposite
reaction in order to find your way back to the center.

So, there is no “should” or “should not” about it.  If you are willing to experience both sides
of the swing of the pendulum, play with your emotions.  Swing as wildly as you care, but this can be
a bit hard on the body and mind.  You
will eventually find it far more peaceful to observe from the center and be
bliss.  You do this by aligning with your
true self, which has no attachments or aversions, and rising as high as you can
on the vertical axis of consciousness to connect with the real you.  Herein lies peace.
