A reader asks, “The more I give, the more I’m
expected to give, it seems.
I don’t like these feelings of resentment, but, I too, need to feel love from
others that’s truly just love being given with nothing asked in return. Does
Sanaya have words to address this?”  Sanaya says:

Superman.  He leapt from building to building,
performing great feats of generosity with no reward.  He did so anonymously, returning to the state
of being a humble reporter.
Anonymity.  Can you give in such a
state, hiding the giant “S” on your chest under your outer clothing?  In your case, that “S” stands for
Spirit.  All of you wear this special
suit.  It is the human side, dressed in
human clothing, that needs reward, that desires recognition and payback.

Do you not realize that
it is impossible to leap from one tall building to another and not be
seen?  Great deeds and small deeds are
noticed.  The Spirit needs no
acknowledgment.  The rewards are
intrinsic.  Love is all that
matters.  Feel compassion for the side of
you that craves recognition, and for those who do not realize who they are, then let the great “S” upon your chest shine.
