What happens
if you take an object and put a stone upon its back in the water?  It will sink to the bottom, will it not?  Those for whom you hold anger or resentment
or judgment are like rocks upon your back, pressing your face into the
muck.  The more stones upon your back,
the harder it is to breathe.

Sit in the
silence.  Bring to mind the images of
those for whom you hold judgment, disdain, and anything less than love.  For each person you now send love with the
simple words, “I forgive you and myself for being human,” a stone rolls off
your back.  Continue this process until
you rise, rocket-like to the surface and pop, now free to breathe, into the
light.  A visual exercise, yes, but this
is how consciousness creates.
