pantomime-54846_640You would find it quite amusing how your roles and the “shoulds” associated with them take you farther and farther from your center.  But to find it amusing, you must detach from the role(s), else you are incapable of laughing at yourself.  Be aware of defensiveness.  What role are you trying to protect?  Take a step back and smile as you gaze upon your actions.  If you smile long enough, then the laughter will follow, but it is not derisive.  It is laughter filled with awareness and understanding of how humans can get off track at times.  Now slide back down into peace, why don’t you?
