I’ll show HIM!”  When have you
heard this?  When have you thought or
said this?  And what was the motive?  In each case there is a sense of righteousness
that one’s actions or thoughts must be heard or validated.  Recognize the human side at work here.  See the inherent sense of separation.  See that those who one would wish to show
another way have not nearly as much to be shown as the one who feels so
indignant.  This one could indeed be shown
a thing or two:  that all are here to
learn and grow and each does so in his own way at his own pace.  When you come to this realization, then your
phrase changes to one that is far more peaceful and of the spirit:  “I’ll show him … love.”
