“I feel as if I’ve known you forever!” Have you ever said this to another? Of course you have, for the soul is eternal. Spirit does not die, nor is it born. These are human aspects. Spirit simply is. You made an agreement before taking on this particular role in this particular life that you would interact with certain other players. There is recognition at a soul level when you meet. On the human level you stop, you blink, you stare as the heart stirs.
“I know you,” you think. “We have met before.” And you are right. Better words to say would be along the lines of, “Hello, dear friend. It has been a while in human terms, and now we awaken these sleeping actors a bit more. Isn’t it fun to see their surprise? It took them long enough to figure it out.”
Enjoy these reunions, for that is what it is: a re-union of souls which never truly were apart, but temporarily separated through the illusion of human separation. Say, “Hello, my friend. And so we meet again.”
