sometimes-its-better-not-to-react-quote-1

“Think before you speak.” This is good advice, but there is even better: “Feel before you think.” And then, put the two together, thinking and feeling, and realize that even these will always be part of a story you have bought into about the one known as you interacting with the stories of others around you. So, even better advice would be to “Step out of your story before you speak.” Step out, down, up, whichever direction you would like. As an aspect of Consciousness, you are not stuck in your body any more than you are stuck in your story. And now, free of your story, see it for what it is. Now allow a higher solution to flow to you and through you. When you become aware of this answer, this guidance, drift back into your body and reassume your story. There. Do you see how it works?
