Be not afraid of the dark. It holds no evil. There is no boogeyman. These are tales passed down to you to frighten you and make you behave a certain way. “Please, could you leave the light on?” Do you see what a tool the imagination is? It sees monsters under the bed when nothing is there.
Fear is a human creation. It goes hand in hand with human power. The only Power you need ever give allegiance to is your very own spiritual strength. You have the Power to turn up your own light and banish the darkness, extinguish all fears. There is no need to turn to another to take away the fear.
