Surrender.  It is not a throwing
up of the arms and saying, “I quit.”  It
is a knowing that living in struggle is no longer your desire.  It is a knowing that you no longer wish to
act alone and suffer.  Yes, raise your
arms in surrender, but only like the little child who says to one who can help,
“Please lift me up and hold me safely in your arms.”  As you are lifted, you rise above the
drama.  From this higher perspective, in
the arms of Love, you can better choose how to react when you return to ground
level.  And as you return to walk around,
you take a bit of that peace and Love with you.
Now, is surrender so bad?
