Picture a pile of
sawdust. It consists of bits and flecks
that barely resemble the original wood. The
texture is different; the feel soft vs. hard.
It even has a different scent, released when the board was broken down
into its finer components.
You, as spirit, are
like the sawdust and the board – different aspects of the same thing … at times
strong and firm, at others, soft and easily blown about. It is all “wood,” just as you are all
spirit. You have many facets: hard and soft, fine as sawdust or rigid as a
board, but all useful in some way.
