You cast away your childlike things, asking to be all grown up.  And then when you get there, you are told to be as the little child.  Mixed metaphors.  Life is one big paradox as long as you identify with your human life.  Child or adult?  Do you see the duality?  The soul simply IS, and when you are not worried about whether you are childlike or not, what emerges?  Your true nature as love.  Unconditional love.  Playfulness.  Innate joy.

When you tire of worrying whether or not you should throw away childlike things or be as the little child, perhaps you could cease thinking like a human and be as a puppy.

Do not take this all so seriously.  You are doing just fine.
