Why do you need to surrender your focus on human views, human identification, in order to access higher consciousness?  For human views are limited.  There is always a connection to the higher dimensions within you.  Those dimensions are not exactly higher as in “up there” or “out there”.  They are all around you like your television and radio signals you cannot perceive.  To perceive more of them, you must surrender your human focus and shift your awareness to the higher self.  That soul aspect of you is innately connected to All That Is.  Merely shifting the focus and going within makes this connection possible.  But do you see that the shift is necessary?  By grace, higher insights come to you, influenced by the greater good, but please do not think the human side of you knows it all.  It is one continuum, really, and the human is quite low on the totem pole.  Look around you and see what clinging to solely human awareness has done for mankind.  But do not despair.  You are never left entirely to your own devices.  Rise up in your awareness to the higher aspects of yourself.  This is where true wisdom is to be found, not to mention true Love.
