“Not my pain.”  This is a phrase we wish you to remember and repeat when you find yourself feeling emotions that are dissonant to your natural state of being after having been in close proximity to another who is in pain.  This pain can be emotional, mental, or physical.  When you are closely entangled with another, you develop a resonance, an empathy.  Their actions become your reactions, and the more you are entangled, the easier it is for you to not realize that what you are feeling is arising from their energetic field and not yours.  You have merged fields so closely that you cannot tell the difference.  A flare-up in the other becomes an instantaneous flare-up in you.  Tears in another become tears upon your own cheeks.  When you do not realize what is at work, you can walk away from that other one and carry their pain with you, and you are none the wiser.  When you become aware that you already know who you are — a beautiful light temporarily in a human body- yet you are feeling dragged down by energies not in resonance with this awareness, this is when to ask yourself if you might have picked up stray currents not your own.  This is the time to repeat “Not my pain.”  At this time, a good chakra cleansing is in order to restore balance.  Hear us well:  Do not blame all low vibratory feelings upon others.  Your own thoughts do very much create your own pain.  You are allowed to feel sadness and other emotions, but do you see how very much in control of your own energetic field you are?  You are so very loved.
