How often do we ask you
to have compassion for others?  But what
about yourself?  You are not perfect as
you walk about learning, nor are you expected to be.  Perfection—or at least the striving for it—comes
at a cost.  The price is disappointment
and disillusion.  Have compassion for
your self.  Just as you laugh with joy
when you see a baby take its first steps and fall, laugh at yourself when you
do the same.  Life is all about learning
and growing.  Harsh judgment and
criticism serve no purpose.  Those are
human traits.  See yourself from the
heart … at a soul level … and laugh when you fall.  Then pick yourself up, dust off your bottom,
and get on with your learning.
