Do you know I AM, or do you know only your story?  You may immediately answer, “Of course I know I AM!  I AM this or that,” you say, and you fill in the blank with any number of labels.  This is not the I AM.  This is ego and its story, which is always accompanied with rules, desires, wants, needs, and vacillating emotions.  I AM needs, wants, desires, fears nothing, for nothing comes after or before I AM.  I AM simply is.

How often are you aware of simply being … being present without your story and all of its inherent drama?  Be still.  Be still and know I AM.  “What a waste of time!” says the one who knows only the story.  No.  What a waste of I AM to know only time.

No worries.  No judgment.  In truth, you cannot waste time, you cannot waste I AM.  The story exists for the learning.  I AM is the never-changing backdrop, the peace that passes all understanding that lies deep within and beyond all labels, and yet encompasses all experience.

I AM.  Be still and know.  Be still.  Be.  I AM.
