When the body gets out of balance, everything does… your moods, your emotions, your connection with spirit.   How do you get out of balance?  An event happens that causes fright or extremes of any emotion.  Then the chemicals continue to course after the rush.  During this period in which the body will naturally seek equilibrium you are in danger of going even farther out of balance simply because being unbalanced feels so uncomfortable.  You may try to self-medicate with food or drink or pills.  You may lash out at another.  Be aware.  Pause long enough that you can go back to the source of this disharmony.  With awareness comes power, for now you can make a choice.  Add fuel to the fire or nurture yourself.  Once the body has reached homeostasis, you are much more likely to hear the still, small voice within and know you are so very loved.
