Does your earth stop revolving?  Does the sun fail to shine?  Then why would you stop growing?  You are here for the endless experiences, one learning opportunity after another.  They may not all be pleasant and they may not all be painful.  In fact, if you are honest, you will see that you often focus on one aspect or the other—pain or pleasure—based upon your temperament.  There is always a choice as to how to view a situation.  By taking all occurrences back to a neutral state, then you have the freedom to choose what color you paint each situation.  Death need not always be black.  Is a storm always gray?  Be aware of patterned thinking and realize that in an eternal life where experience leads to growth, perhaps it is time to try on some new ways of being.
