Without your story you would have no anger.  Why is that?  For stories tell you what to think.  They come with their inherent shoulds and musts.  When others do not meet your should and musts, you feel anger (or disappointment, or, however you may fill in the blank).  Then why does not everyone experience anger at the same things?  For you all have slightly different stories.

Do you all grow angry when you witness senseless killing?  Most do, of course.  This is natural.  We are not speaking of this now.  We are speaking of the day-to-day family interactions and those with friends and co-workers that knock you off balance.  It is your story that keeps you there.  Have a look.  If you are angry and others are not, you have a choice. You always have a choice:  Believe the story, or see it for what it is.  When you do this enough times, then you will begin to see who you really are, and trust us, you are not your story.
