“Do the right thing.”  How do you know what that is?  Your heart will tell you, and it often speaks through the body with a resounding, open yes or a clenching no.  You also have your innate feeling of guilt, which is simply a label for that same resounding no carried on over what you know as time.  How to avoid that uncomfortable feeling?  Do the right thing.  Try various scenarios in your head and feel the body’s response.  When you find that ah spot, then you will know what to do.  After that, cease berating yourself.  “Be true to yourself” is another phrase that goes hand in hand with “do the right thing” for a reason.  Your higher self provides you with an inner compass that allows you to know peace, for the opposite is so glaringly apparent.  You are so very loved, even and especially as you learn by trial and error.
