stubbornChoose or refuse … two words in your language which sound alike, but whose meanings carry completely different vibrations.  When you refuse to do or consider something, you have dug your heels in.  You are now in black and white, either-or mode.  You have blocked out alternatives.  Can you feel the difference between this rigid stance and saying, “I choose this alternative, but I can understand why that other might be taken”?  With the willingness to surrender rigidity, you are now free to exercise choices, to try alternate possibilities, if only in your mind, and to have greater understanding of your fellow humans.  Yes, we are on a recurring theme, but perhaps your world is becoming a bit polarized and could use a bit more flow in its ongoing dance of opposites.
