“Nine times out of ten” … yet another expression you have. This one explains the certainty you have that a thing will occur. You are predicting behavior or events based upon past history. And what of the tenth event? Why will it occur differently? For there will be one brave enough to beat the odds. One who does not go along with the crowd. Or perhaps you need to be shaken up a bit so that you are not lulled into complacency. If ten times out of ten the same thing happened, where would be the growth, the learning? Never forget why you are here. It is that tenth time after nine times out of ten when all has gone along the same that life gets interesting.
