How often are you aware of your body?  Quite often, if you suffer from aches and pains, but what of the minor tensions?  These add up to the major “ow’s.”  Pause regularly throughout your day and notice the tension you are holding in your face.  Is the jaw set tight?  Is there crinkling around the eyes?  You know where this will lead.  The face reflects the way it is held for years on end.  If you can hold the awareness to relax the facial muscles, the rest of the body will follow in kind.  Be kind to the self and practice mindfulness.  In this more relaxed state, with the physical side more open, the mental and spiritual will flow with greater insights as you make the connection with your higher self more easily.
