not guiltyIt is so easy for the human to cast blame upon another, to divert it from the self. “How could you let me do that?” you cry, even though you are the one who took the action. Could you rise above and watch such interactions, you might laugh at how ego tries to protect itself. And that is all that is happening here. Once again ego is stepping to the forefront, asserting its dominance. When you find yourself not taking responsibility for a thing that has gone awry or not as planned, stop and study your role in it. Listen to how ego squawks. Then rise above and step into soul awareness. See how very different things appear. How does the soul wish to respond? No squawking here.

Note from Suzanne: I received two messages from Sanaya today. I was going to post the second one, but Sanaya clearly said, “Post the first one.” Okay. So, just as I was typing the first one, I heard, “Listen to the lyrics that are playing on your radio.” I did so, and had to laugh. The male singer was giving us the perfect example of his girlfriend diverting blame away from herself as he sang, “You say I’m crazy, for you don’t think I know what you’ve done.” Coincidence?
