“But, but …” This is the human way – to counter any thought
or suggestion that might require change. 
Today we once again recommend listening to your thoughts.  Catch yourself each time the ego tries to
insert a “Yes, but,” and stop.  What else
could you insert in place of this habitual excuse?  “Yes, I hear you,” is a good start.  And then allow what you have heard to sit
awhile.  Watch how long the “buts”
persist and counter each one.  You may
very well find an interesting solution to a deep-seated challenge.  But, but if you fail to listen, perhaps you
will not.
