Peace be upon you. Is that not what you want? Running about looking for it, most especially outside of yourself in the world which appears far from peaceful will not help you find it. Perhaps you do find a sanctuary such as a church where peaceful, holy energy has built up over years. Where you are sitting now can be such a refuge when you realize the sanctuary lies always within you. Any physical place can be a sacred, holy place no matter how tumultuous when you go within to the state that never changes. This is pure peace. There is nowhere to go, nothing to do save shift the focus from one reality to your eternal reality.

sometimes it’s so hard to change my state of being when the outside factors have had such a negative impact on an already scarred psyche. Mental illness is so difficult. I try to be grateful for even the smallest things, but it doesn’t change the things that happen or have happened. I wish I could hear from my guides, or at least feel what people like Suzanne feel, connected. I am trying and trying and not finding it. I hope I do someday, somehow.
