Disdain is a form of judgment. You call it “looking down your nose” for good reason. When you feel yourself higher than another and look down upon them, you are not seeing eye to eye. You may not always agree with another at the human level, but at the deepest level, trust us well, you ARE that other. Oh my. That is a challenging concept to swallow, but when you swallow your pride—that part of you that keeps you in the head with all this looking, smelling, and swallowing, then you settle in the heart where the truth of your oneness is known. You are so very loved.

This is hard to accept. How are we supposed to accept others’ actions that cause harm to others? Who seem hell bent on destroying the planet we inhabit? Are we supposed to just accept we supposedly agreed to experience our proverbial house burning down around us?
I too having a hard time with is one. I do understand we come here with tasks or to experience. but its truly difficult to accept. not talking minor things. like Pamela. we see government allowing areas to burn. waiting for help tonarrive. when really they should of Trained a community to handle it. then these wars. add in those who deliberately abuse kids and one another in all forms. however I am going to take this as hint for myself as yesterday had a blow out with my teenager.

We are all one and our individual efforts to awaken and live that will gradually heal the world. Learning to recognize those parts of us who are unaware of reality and are willing to harm others purely for personal power and gain is part of our life’s purpose. It’s not a question of accepting or condoning bad actors, but recognizing that, if you were unaware of the greater reality, you might be like them. Do what you can to prevent bad actors from hurting others and strive to let your light be a beacon of compassion and empathy.
