Frost on the window
Obscures the view
So thick at times
No light can get through.

But take a finger
And wipe a small hole
Peer inside
And lo! There’s the soul!

What icy exterior
Does obscure what’s inside?
Why so much
From your True Self do you hide?

Take a large cloth
And clear the whole pane.
Never more hide the Light
Not from frost, fog, or rain.

The Light that’s inside
Is just waiting to shine…
To show the whole world
That what’s there is Divine.

So with your heart and your mind
Clear away what obscures.
The Light inside–yes, your spirit …
The part of you that endures.
