To manipulate something means that you get your hands into it and make adjustments to your liking. Why do you do so? For you think it will make an improvement that benefits you or others. This is when motive comes in to play. Why are you manipulating that person or thing? Could it be better off left alone, or is there some perceived need in you that you believe your manipulations will fill? Your true needs are filled when you surrender to the manipulations of a Higher Hand. It serves you well to stop before you insert your human hand where it may get bitten. Allow yourself to be manipulated by Spirit and you will find any need to manipulate others disappears.
