Awareness is the key to peace.  We can repeat this daily, but only you can practice awareness of your thoughts until you put into practice the active choices that result from paying attention.  Are you feeling frustrated, judgmental, fearful and the like?  These arise quite normally in the human drama.  Awareness helps you to see the drama for what it is:  an overlay on the underlying reality of creation.  From Awareness, you can choose to continue focusing on the drama, or to rise above it and say, “Isn’t that interesting!” – a far more peaceful response that gives you just enough space to remain above the fray or step back in.  If the latter, now you can do so with greater perspective.
