Scattered and smothered … this is how you feel at times, do you
not? The mind goes running off in all
directions, and then the body does the same.
Take a moment in these moments of mental frenzy and notice your
breathing. It is likely quite shallow
and as erratic as your thoughts. You can
bring all back to rapid balance by focusing on the breath. Pull in a deep breath from the earth. Then pull in a deep breath from the heavens. Where the two meet you will find
balance. Is it any surprise that this
meeting point is at the heart? Breathe
deeply and find peace, focus, and balance at the center of you.
